New Fall 2011 Schedule Out! UPDATED 9/13 10:00pm
Hello everyone! Below is my availability schedule for Fall 2011, beginning this week. I've already sent an email to all students who were in summer lessons with me, and they will get priority for lesson slots. Once those students have had a chance to select their desired slot, I will begin placing everyone else.
Also, a reminder: Lessons are now $17 per 25-30 minutes, for a total of $68 each four-lesson cycle. Please talk to me if you need to make other payment arrangements, I have no problem working anything out with families.
After school lessons: I'm making room for Tuesdays and Fridays after school, at either ISMS or KMS, to accommodate students from SKI and BCI as well as the middle schools whom I'm unable to meet during class.
I'm formatting my schedule below with time slots followed by the campus location. I hope this makes sense for everyone!

Summer's almost over, everyone! I've had a lot of families ask about catching up on lessons since I've been super busy with drumline and band. This week I will have many more openings for lessons, so we can catch up on some 60-minute lessons this last week before school starts. Here's what I have available for this week:

Ok, that's what I've got this week. As for the first week of school and beyond, I still need to finalize what my schedule looks like at KHS before I can get the ISMS and KMS students slotted. All you SKI and BCI families should know that I will be able to meet with 4 students each week during class. For the first week of school I will only be available Thursday and Friday if things hold steady until then. I'll keep everyone updated.
Thanks again for your continued enrollment of your child in lessons and allowing me to share this wonderful art with them. It's truly a joy for me and I hope for them as well!

Lessons for the Rest of Summer, Plus Dates to Remember!
Life with our new daughter Carmen Elizabeth has been exciting, and we're thankful to everyone for your kind thoughts and words of encouragement to us, not to mention the humbling number of gifts we've received! Thank you so much!
A few important dates to keep in mind:
***Wednesday 7/13 I will try to move some lessons to clear space in the morning. Basically I need to move my 10:30-12:30 lessons to another day to make an appointment.
***Starting 7/25, we will have the KHS Drumline Camp. Lessons will either not take place or will move to late afternoon/early evening. I will also not be able to do 60-/45-minute lessons, so all lessons will be only 30 minutes to allow room for as many students as possible to keep current on their lessons. I will have further details as we approach this date.
Here's what I have available for M/T/W lessons. All lessons are at KHS. Unless indicated, these slots are a weekly commitment. Of course with this being summer, vacations, mission trips, etc. are obviously excused. If you see a slot you want, let me know quickly! There will be slots that open up as the week progresses, and I'll update this post as those slots open up.

Payment is dependent on the length of lessons. I ask that four weeks' worth of lessons be paid in advance for 30 minute lessons ($64 at $16x4), two weeks' worth in advance for 45-minute lessons ($50 at $25x2), and two weeks' worth in advance for 60-minute OR double 30-minute lessons a week ($60 at $30x2). If these arrangements do not work out, I'm more than happy to help with other arrangements, as long as we have communication about it.

My attendance policy is simple: It's the Golden Rule! If you're going to be late for a lesson, please text me within an hour of our lesson's start time, and we should be able to keep our normal length. Also, if you're going to miss a lesson, please let me know by that morning (or the night before if it's a morning lesson) so I can plan accordingly. I will obviously do the same, even text you if I'm running behind. If either I or you fail to do so, we lose that lesson and I'm under no obligation to reschedule unless it's my fault. You can check my website or follow me on Twitter for the most up-to-date info, including if I'm running behind all day, I have to leave for an emergency, etc. Lastly, please make sure I have your mobile number so I can text/call you if necessary.

KHS lessons 1/4 - 1/13 {UPDATED 1/5 10pm}
Happy new year! One of my resolutions is to resume frequent updates here to allow for better communication to families, so here's my first step: Getting a schedule going for the next two weeks (the last weeks of the semester). I've put a sign-up sheet on the office door, and have already filled a few slots. As of 3:40pm today, here is what I have available until 1/13:
