Summer lessons will begin either the first or second week of June. I will be at Keller HS for three days each week, probably from 9am to 5pm. Depending on the number of students I have signed up for lessons, I will probably only be offering 30- and 60-minute lessons to facilitate scheduling. The price is $17 for 30-minutes, $30 for 60-minutes.
Percussion Camps: I've had a few families express interest in camps for their children this summer. I will always recommend any camp that is affordable and works with each individual family's travel abilities. I've also been toying around with the idea of hosting my own "camp", but making it more of a ensemble session than a real camp. Depending on the number of interested participants, I hope I can host a morning and an afternoon session, one for middle schoolers and another for high schoolers. We would be working on at least one percussion ensemble per session and a solo for interested students, with a performance on the last day of camp. I'm thinking about holding this session the last week of June. If you're interested let me know!
I know I haven't been posting on here, so hopefully with the end of the year and beginning of summer I can start posting more often. Thanks to all of our percussion families for allowing me to continue teaching your wonderful children!
